How Vucifer handles the information you share through this website, in plain language.
Last updated: October 9, 2026
01Who we are
This website, vucifer.com, is run by Paul Vu, doing business as Vucifer, a creative studio based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. In this policy, “Vucifer,” “we,” “us” and “our” mean Paul Vu and Vucifer. This policy covers information collected through this website. It does not cover other websites we link to.
02What we collect
Information you give us.
- Contact form: your first and last name, email address, the message you write, and whether you opted in to news and updates.
- Newsletter: your email address if you sign up.
- Purchases: if you buy something from the shop, your name, email, billing and shipping details. Card payments are handled by the payment processor at checkout. We never see or store your full card number.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, this site records basic technical information when you visit: your IP address, browser and device type, approximate location based on IP, the pages you view, how long you stay and the site that referred you. This comes from cookies and similar technologies described below.
03How we use it
- To reply to your message and discuss, quote and deliver a project.
- To send the newsletter, but only if you signed up. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
- To process and deliver shop orders.
- To understand how the site is used and make it better.
- To protect the site and its forms from spam and abuse.
- To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.
04Who we share it with
We only share information with service providers that help run the site and the business, and only as much as they need to do that job. These include:
- Squarespace: website hosting, forms, analytics, email campaigns and the shop.
- Google: reCAPTCHA spam protection on forms, and Google Search Console, which reports how the site appears in Google search.
- Payment processors such as Stripe or PayPal, if you buy something.
We may also share information if the law requires it, to protect our rights, or as part of selling or transferring the business.
05Cookies & analytics
Cookies are small files your browser stores. This site uses cookies that are needed for it to work (for example, keeping items in your cart) and analytics cookies that show us which pages people visit. Squarespace sets these cookies. You can learn more in the Squarespace cookie guide.
Services we use, such as Squarespace and Google, may collect information about your activity on this site, and they may also collect it across other websites over time. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Parts of the site, like the cart, may not work without them.
06Do Not Track
Some browsers can send a “Do Not Track” signal. There is no common standard for how websites should respond to it, and this site does not currently change how it works when it receives one.
07Your choices
- Unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time with the link at the bottom of any email.
- Ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you by sending a request through the contact page. We will respond within a reasonable time and may need to confirm it’s you first.
- Depending on where you live, you may have additional privacy rights under local law. Contact us and we will help.
08Retention & security
We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the reasons above, including any legal, tax or accounting requirements, then delete it. We use reputable service providers and reasonable measures to protect your information, but no website or email system is completely secure.
This site is run from the United States. If you visit from another country, your information will be processed in the United States.
09Children
This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
10Changes & contact
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date at the top of this page, and significant changes will be noted on the site.
